Summary:

Druva is looking for a Sr. Solutions Architect with an expertise in security. This role will act as a subject matter expert in security and will work with Druva field teams, customers and partners to design/architect cloud data protection. This is a global role but will have majority of the responsibility be in the US. This position will also manage feature requests and provide inputs from the field team to our Product and Engineering teams.

Candidates must have excellent communication skills and be very technical, with the ability to impress customers at any level, from executive to developer. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience designing and troubleshooting large-scale systems architecture, in addition to working experience with virtualized environments in the enterprise. You will get the opportunity to work directly with senior engineers at both top software vendors and Druva service teams, influencing their roadmaps and driving innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • As a key member of the solutions architect team, ensure success in designing & architecting solution for Druva customers
  • Author or otherwise contribute to customer-facing publications such as whitepapers and proof of concepts
  • In partnership with the sales team, formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of Druva products
  • Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to be Druva platform experts
  • Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the Druva Subject Matter Expert community
  • With field knowledge, work to influence and shape product roadmap.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in SOC analysis and tools needed for SOC analysis
  • At least 1 year of administrative-level work designing and implementing SIEM or SOAR tools like Splunk, ArcSight etc.
  • Specific knowledge of using REST API’s
  • Experience in SecOps or have performed role of a security architect
  • Security certifications like CISSP is desired by not required.
  • Exposure and awareness of EDR and XDR tools like Crowdstrike etc.
  • General experience within the Data Protection industry: backup, recovery, BC/DR.  
  • Previous experience with cloud (AWS or Azure) is desired but not required.
  • Experience with programing languages like Python is desired by not required
  • An advanced degree in computer science, engineering or mathematics
  • 5+ years experience building and designing solutions that run in security related environments
  • 7+ years of highly technical, hands-on job experience
  • 5+ years in customer facing role or extensive experience working with internal business leads to develop solutions.
  • Organized and goal focused, ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $165,000-$230,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized, non-discriminatory factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, and equity.
