Job Description: 

  • Analyze user needs and design and develop computer software to meet the requirements.  
  • Work closely with teams across Samsung Mobile to provide solutions with a user first approach and manage different Samsung Mobile collaborations with partners simultaneously.  
  • Responsible for contributing to the vision and strategy of the company’s overall products and services.  
  • Build applications and services for Samsung’s array of devices spanning mobile phones, speakers, wearables, etc.  
  • Act as the product owner to drive clarity of computer software products to meet commercial and strategic goals.  
  • Responsible for defining and articulating use cases, features, and requirements for software features that have been proposed.  
  • Solicit and formalize feedback from business teams and technology partners. Validate business cases and partner readiness to prioritize among feature requests and to ensure optimal return on investment (“ROI”).  
  • Responsible for partnering with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, such as Engineering, Quality Assurance, Technical Program Managers, Marketing, and Customer Support across various geographies to create optimal computer software. 

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as software engineer or related

The base pay range for roles at this level is listed below, but may be higher or lower in other states due to geographic differentials in the labor market. Within the base pay range, individual rates depend on a number of factors—including the role’s function and location as well as the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, education and training. This is part of our comprehensive compensation package with annual bonus eligibility and generous benefits to help you live life well.
Base Pay Range
$219,000—$246,150 USD
