We're looking for someone who knows their way around the US startup ecosystem to represent Stripe, share what we're working on and help entrepreneurs succeed. You’re an energetic and organized self-starter; you understand the product well, can cultivate and manage trusted partnerships with the right players in the ecosystem, and can succinctly communicate Stripe's mission and benefits to startups. You will be a key driver of our success with startups and on the front lines for evangelizing our product to prospective users. You will:

  • Serve as a key member of the Startup Partners team helping drive Stripe’s startup market strategy
  • Partner with accelerator and early stage venture firms to ensure they are successful in integrating the Stripe platform; providing business mentorship and technical resources where helpful
  • Establish strategic relationships and a serve as a point of escalation for top startups
  • Develop strategy for scaled partnerships with startup organization leaders that bolster Stripes position as the default platform to grow their business
  • Manage partnerships at scale with accelerator and early-stage venture capital firms to generate interest in Stripe and deepen knowledge of the full Stripe platform with  portfolio companies
  • Execute strategic initiatives for Stripe, while working cross functionally with key internal stakeholders (marketing, sales, product, operations, etc.)
  • Utilize and iterate on internal reporting functionality to track business value and accurately forecast team attainment goals
  • Build new programs in service of startup founders, on behalf of Stripe
  • Cultivate strategic, durable relationships with founders of portfolio companies to ensure long-term partnership 
  • Collate startup ecosystem insights and prepare quarterly reports detailing business progress, market trends, and product feedback gathered from startup engagement

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • 3-5 years of experience working 
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
  • Ability to build great relationships with highly technical users
  • A track record of being self-reliant, adaptable and decisive with a “can-do” attitude
  • Experience working and building cross functional relationships to strategically deliver results
  • Ability and motivation to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills

Nice to haves:

  • Experience working with the venture capital and/or accelerator community
  • Well-networked individual in the startup ecosystem
  • Ability to understand a technical buyer and key moments in their life-cycle where payments decisions are made.  
  • Adept public speaker, presenter and moderator
  • SQL,, tableau and presto
