Who we’re looking for:

Skillz is a fast-growing industry leader in mobile gaming and we are expanding our physical and virtual live events. We have signed up venues, sponsors, and customers to host interactive gaming tournaments in a variety of mobile games. Tournaments are hosted daily by streamers and web personalities on Twitch, Mobcrush, and Youtube.

Now, we need a high energy player to help us build relationships with streamers on Youtube, Twitch and and more! You are social and can connect with people all types of personalities. You are comfortable with outreach via e-mail, social media, Twitch/YT, interest groups, conferences and more.  You are comfortable with a fast-paced environment and think quick on your feet. You are comfortable being the first point of contact streamers have with Skillz. You are excited for the challenge to build a new industry!

What you’ll do:

  • Forge inroads into a rapidly-growing, frontier sales environment
  • Manage full streamer sales cycle including lead generation, initial reachout, and closing contract and streamer/broadcaster onboarding
  • Manage relationships and coordinate process with talent and talent managers
  • Attend and create material for sales meetings, training sessions, and Skillz Live promotion
  • Consult, collaborate and brainstorm with sales team on big ideas and lead generation
  • Coordinate design and marketing material for events
  • Evolve our sales processes to drive scalability and efficiency
  • Generate and prioritize leads from a variety of sources

Your Skillz:

  • 1-3 years of sales, business development, client relations, or account management experience
  • Prior experience using Salesforce or other CRM tools
  • Strong work-ethic and positive attitude
  • Outstanding organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and deliver on key milestones
  • Computer-savvy or willing to learn to use streaming programs
  • Able to demonstrate initiative and the ability to manage one’s business with minimal supervision
  • Prepared to deal with rejection in a positive and professional manner
  • Enthusiastic willingness to roll-up-your-sleeves and do whatever it takes
  • Strong attention to detail, highly entrepreneurial, creative, open-minded, persistent, and highly collaborative
