We have an opportunity for a Strategy and Operations Manager to join our team. In this role,  you will help drive operational excellence across Pursuit by implementing strategy and building/maintaining key organizational processes. You will work across the organization on a variety of projects and processes - ranging from delivering key insights via structured analyses to managing large cross-functional projects to ensuring operational processes are streamlined and effective. 

Pursuit strives towards data-driven, human judgment. The ideal candidate will be data-driven and analytically-minded, bringing strategic logic to all discussions and problems. Versatility and flexibility will be key traits given the diversity of work and projects the person in this role will own.

As an Strategy and Operations Manager you will: 

  • Independently manage cross-functional projects and programs: Work across Pursuit teams to project manage key workflows and critical cross-functional projects. This work includes aligning key stakeholders on needs, creating scoping and planning documents, and working to drive results across teams. 
  • Drive Analyses Which Support the Senior Leadership’s Understanding of Key Outcomes: In concert with the Business Operations Analyst, scope and drive analyses for the SLT, helping the org to better understand the drivers of key outcomes and adjust planning accordingly. 
  • Scope and Execute on Prioritized Growth Initiatives: Work with the Director of Business Operations and the Senior Leadership team to identify initiatives that will grow and strengthen the organization, scope the required resources, manage and execute on these initiatives, and determine how to embed within the organization over time. 

What you need to be considered for the Strategy and Operations Manager role: 

  • 3+ years experience as an project manager with a track record of planning and running cross-functional projects
  • 3+ Years providing high-level analyses for senior leadership, understanding how to analyze and present the most important insights for the greatest impact
  • You are a master at managing multiple projects simultaneously and you know how to develop effective project timelines 
  • Customer service / customer experience orientation, preferably with a track record of providing this to various stakeholders
  • Highly collaborative and a natural problem solver who remains calm under pressure

Compensation: $75,000 - $100,000

The range above is for the expectations as laid out in the job description, however we are often open to a wide variety of profiles, and recognize that the person we hire may be less experienced (or more senior) than this job description as posted.  If that ends up being the case, the updated salary range will be communicated with you as a candidate.
