The Role:

A Community Manager is an extraordinarily talented individual who will take the reins and oversee the growth of Course Hero within a specific geographic region. You will make strategic decisions and develop key initiatives to achieve your ultimate goal of building the Course Hero brand and growing our user base.

You will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of your region, including marketing campaigns, brand awareness promotions, group partnerships, social media, community engagement, and other strategic growth initiatives. You will also recruit, select, manage, mentor, and lead a team of student representatives, and work together with them to accomplish a portion of the initiatives you develop.

Ultimately, you are the CEO of your region, and you look forward to being obsessed with everything that goes into making it successful. You are skilled at making big decisions, tackling tough problems, and doing whatever it takes to build the community of students who love Course Hero.

Here are some ways you'll make an impact:

  • You'll grow Course Hero's user base at a collection of target universities
  • You'll develop and launch marketing initiatives tailored for each school
  • You'll analyze both quantitative and qualitative data to make key decisions
  • You'll select, manage, mentor, and lead a team of student representatives
  • You'll travel to your target universities to conduct recruiting, marketing, and brand building events
  • You'll manage overall business development and business growth within your region

Our next Hero has:

  • 1+ years of experience in a community management, business development, operations, consulting, or marketing role
  • A Bachelor's degree in an applicable field
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to achieve tangible results
  • A love of the Course Hero brand and interest in supporting our Knowledge Drive initiative
  • A strong history of teamwork, collaboration, leadership, and success
