As a PDQ Finance & Accounting Intern, you will be joining our 2024 Summer Cohort designed to provide you with an opportunity to gain knowledge, experience and exposure in the technical industry. You will work alongside Accountants, Financial Analysts, AP/AR and our customer facing billing team. This internship encompasses not only hands-on assignments but also professional development sessions, engaging events and opportunities to network with PDQ leadership and other teams.
What you'll be working on:
Accounting
Processing bank transactions
Processing customer tax exemption requests
Product integration and other accounting tasks supporting the team
Finance
Preparing various budget/actual variances for monthly leadership meetings
Analyzing operational and financial data to update and improve financial models
Market research and data gathering
Data clean up projects
Own an analytics project that will be presented to Senior leadership
Who you are:
- Ability to work autonomously and in collaboration with team members
- Strong interpersonal skills
- High level of efficiency, accuracy and responsibility
- Reflective of PDQ core values of honesty, ownership, collaboration and improvement
- Aptitude for math and proficiency with computers and Microsoft Excel
- Undergraduate business major, finance or accounting preferred
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
- Must have completed Senior year undergraduate work by May prior to start of the internship
- Must be able to work 36 hours per week, between the dates of May 20-August 15, 2024
