Position Overview:
To continue our solid growth, we are seeking a talented and highly motivated Manufacturing Supervisor to join our growing organization. This position is responsible for all operational aspects of the reagent manufacturing process in a Life Sciences Research manufacturing company with a highly complex technology, extensive product portfolio and a number of strategic collaborations. The ideal candidate will be an innovative leader with a depth of experience in immunoassay reagent manufacturing and custom manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
This role will be expected to:
- Oversee team of 4-6 manufacturing technicians. Responsibilities include hiring, performance evaluation, training and professional development
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining a culture of trust and compliance with established Quality standards
- Work closely with the Scheduler to review manufacturing requirements and generate build plans, establish priorities, resolve problems, and report results
- Drive lean manufacturing efforts, process improvements, regulatory compliance & quality improvement projects, cost reduction efforts, capacity planning, organizational development and supply chain initiatives
- Perform batch record reviews for manufacturing records, complete/review Syteline ERP transactions for associated job orders
- Participate in inventory control and replenishment, interfacing with area managers and other manufacturing technicians
- Participate in documentation and other process improvements, investigations and resolutions of product/process issues and general continuous improvement activities
- Perform other duties as required

- Develop and support the growth of direct reports
Minimum Experience and Education:
- 4+ years of demonstrated success with leading a manufacturing team in a fast paced environment and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Chemistry or Life Sciences
- Detailed knowledge of ERP system, bills of materials, routings
- Experience with creating and revising process documentation
- Experience with GMP- or ISO-certified operations required
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement preferred
Physical Demands:
- Some processes entail repetitive motion and extended periods of time in a standing position
