A key operational role within a rapidly expanding luxury beauty brand, the Supply Planning Manager is responsible for developing a best in class Supply Planning team with best in class processes.
The role leads the Supply Planning Function ensuring we meet target customer service levels through optimized inventory levels. This is achieved through collaborating closely with our 30+ supplier partners to create a great end to end supply chain that supports the rapid growth of Charlotte Tilbury.
The Supply Chain team at Charlotte Tilbury is undergoing some major change since 2020, with expanding teams and the implementation of a new planning system. This project is already underway with a go live date of Q4 2021. The Planning functions today rely on a lot of manual processes and MS Excel analysis. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in this current environment, as well as lead the Supply Planning team through a period of significant change while these systems are implemented.
The successful candidate will be part of the development of the Charlotte Tilbury Supply Chain strategy. Being part of this transformation journey for the Planning functions represents a great opportunity for development for the right candidate. The rewards of leading the team through this change are huge, but this is an extremely challenging role. The right candidate will have to be self-starting, need to demonstrate resilience, can quickly prioritise and build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders in the business. Key stakeholders include Tech, New Product Development, Quality, and our Supply Chain teams based in our New York and Hong Kong offices.

Role Accountabilities:
- Leadership of the Supply Planning team
- Responsible for the stock position across Charlotte Tilbury’s global distribution network
- Responsible for translating the demand plan into an actionable supply plan
- Responsible for purchasing in line with the agreed supply plan
- Responsible for day to day supplier management to meet business requirements, including expediting goods where necessary
- Responsible for accuracy and integrity of supply information to all regions providing a clear view of what stock is and will be available for sales
- Responsible for the global supply review step of the S&OP process and a key contributor to the overall S&OP cycle
- Management and financial reporting of stock position, stock projection and current purchase plan across planning horizon
- Communication of risks and opportunities against stock profile
- Support systems development within the Supply Planning Function
- Management of supplier reviews with key suppliers
- Day to day management of suppliers to monitor over / under / late / early deliveries to proactively manage availability communications
Reporting Relationships:
- Reports into the Global Head of Planning
- 2 direct reports in same location covering supply planning
Requirements
- Functional expertise gained via formal education and experience
- CIPS/APICS desirable
- Strong people management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
- Advanced Excel user
- Accurate with attention to detail to be able to challenge and spot errors
- Proven analytical skills able to produce, interpret, draw conclusions and present data
- Ability to work at pace
- Resourceful in ambiguous situations
- Can grasp complex matters quickly
- Rapidly builds trustful relationships with a broad range of stakeholders
- Anticipates the future and plans ahead, even when confronted with setbacks and failure
