As we continue on this journey, an important element of this transformation is the creation and building of our Global Technology Services (GTS) function within WPP IT which is responsible for our IT Infrastructure & Operations across the Group. This includes the management and transformation of our Hosting & Distributed environment (Servers, Storage etc.), Connectivity (Network) and Cloud Services (Azure, GCP, AWS). The role holder will report into the GTS Archetype (Hogarth/Specialist Agency/AUNZ) Engineering Lead or one of his reports. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring global technology services are managed and delivered to the business, by partnering closely with our outsourced partners/vendors and wider WPP IT. You will help drive technology delivery introduction and provide the ongoing systems administration & engineering needed for the smooth running and incident resolution in your region, whilst managing the partnerships between operating companies and WPP IT, all whilst maintaining a service mentality. The role will be focused on on-premise infrastructure but also supporting our shift to the cloud strategy. You will also ensure our estate remains refreshed and current as well as provide expertise where needed for WPP Archetype & WPP IT Transformation Programmes/Projects. You will be joining the world's largest marketing services group and have significant autonomy and responsibility in making the role a success.
