We’re tails.com, a dog food subscription company with a big difference. We create truly tailored food for each and every dog we serve. We start by asking people a few simple questions about their dog. Then we use that information to create their dog’s unique tails.com recipe – so their dog gets exactly the nutrition they need, in the taste they love, delivered to their door every month. It’s clever stuff.

 

We’ve got ambitious plans. Having created an entirely new category in pet food, we’re now scaling fast in the UK and Europe – backed by Purina, one of the world’s largest pet food companies. You’ll join a bunch of smart people working towards the same goals – and a bunch of smart-ish dogs, all working on their own thing.

The role

You’ll be the linchpin of our Talent Acquisition process, ensuring best practice is followed and being a champion for candidate experience. Reporting to our Talent Acquisition Manager, your time will be split between sourcing talent for Tails.com and working with our amazing hiring managers to ensure processes are efficient, and true to our employer brand. This is an initial 6 month FTC though there is scope for extension. 

The things you’ll do

• Using our tools, platforms and networks to source game changing talent
• Work with hiring managers to schedule interviews quickly and effectively
• Own Talent Acquisition reporting, including hiring manager and agency output and efficiency 
• Become the subject matter expert for our recruitment software (Greenhouse), championing best practice and monitoring compliance 
• Work with our People Analyst, Jemma, to ensure accurate and efficient onboarding of new joiners 
• Support on Employer Branding activities

The skills you’ll bring

• Gained experience within a recruitment environment (agency or in-house)
• A confident written and verbal communicator, you will be comfortable working with stakeholders across the business
• Demonstrably high attention to detail, with an eye for a good process

And it would be great if you have…

• Recruited within a high growth, consumer goods environment across multiple disciplines
• Managed recruitment processes end to end, including interviewing  
• Experienced or interested in recruitment/people analytics

Work – flexible core hours means that you can start anytime between 7-10am and finish 4-7pm (9 hours in total)

Time out – 25 days’ paid holiday, one volunteer day, and an optional 5 days unpaid leave each year. Paid holidays increase to 26 days on your 2 year anniversary and 27 on your 3 year anniversary.
