THE ROLE
We are looking for an accomplished and enthusiastic Talent Acquisition Lead to join our team.
The Talent Acquisition Lead will be responsible for leading and overseeing the Talent Acquisition team, including their strategies and processes. In this role, they will identify and attract talented candidates.
THE CHALLENGE
- Collaborate with HR to lead the implementation of the overall talent acquisition strategy.
- Optimize existing practices, processes, tools, systems, and programs; and create new ones based on industry’s research and best practices.
- Proactively build talent pools by staying connected to the labour market and social networks.
- Execute end-to-end recruitment processes for key positions within the organization.
- Ensure an exceptional candidate experience at all stages of the recruitment process.
- Promote the Company, enhance visibility, and boost presence on social media, in fairs, schools, and professional associations through strategic partnerships and events.
- Supervise and mentor the Talent Acquisition team by providing guidance, coaching and feedback to ensure their success.
- Build trustworthy relationships with client groups, partners, and suppliers.
- Develop/maintain key performance indicators, reports, and dashboards to measure effectiveness and provide action plans as needed.
- Collaborate with partners to develop communications related to the deployment of talent acquisition initiatives.
- Make recommendations on the budgetary needs required to support talent acquisition initiatives.
- Ensure consistency of practices and compliance with policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Minimum of 5 years in talent acquisition and at least 2 years in a lead position
- In-depth knowledge of full-cycle recruiting, various recruitment tools, and employer branding techniques
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work on several projects simultaneously
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge and skills in utilizing social media platforms and job boards to promote the Company and vacant positions.
- Creative, proactive, accountable, flexible, resourceful, curious, positive, and solution oriented
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks with a high sense of urgency while ensuring effective response to time-sensitive recruitment needs
- Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of the Office Suite
- Experience in retail and/or tech industries is considered a strong asset.
- Must speak French
- Available to work in a hybrid environment, at the office at least 3 days per week.
