We are looking for a Rockstar Talent Acquisition Specialist who will partner with leadership to anticipate and meet the evolving staffing needs of Careem through sourcing, recruiting and hiring talent. We need someone results-driven, resourceful, adept at building strong relationships and able to navigate changing hiring priorities and demands.

You will develop and drive our recruitment agenda, develop and implement recruiting strategies, structure and processes, support expansion into new markets, and develop and implement effective onboarding programs. The role is part of the core Talent team located at our Basecamp (HQ) in Dubai, and will stand alone in Cairo to support the hiring needs of our local team. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the citiy we are in as well as wider expansion plans by sourcing, attracting, assessing and hiring key talent.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and drive the recruiting strategy
  • Source, attract and hire top talent for key organisational roles
  • Identify new recruiting insights and develop effective strategies and solutions to mitigate risks and continually improve practice
  • Build and lead a high-performing, collaborative team built on honesty, trust, and respect
  • Assist managers with creating job descriptions, org charts & standard interview questionnaires for both phone screens and personal interviews
  • Identify and implement sourcing strategies based upon the job position by creatively conducting research and/or utilizing a multitude of resources
  • Develop an ongoing and diverse pipeline using research, networking, database mining, etc. for prospective applicants
  • Create, file and maintain filing system for resumes, applications and miscellaneous paperwork
  • Provide Hiring Manager with updates and summaries of recruiting progress and activity
  • Work with Hiring Manager to determine best fit candidates, coordinate interviews, receive timely feedback and present/manage offers
  • Work with Hiring Managers and make offer recommendations to close on selected candidates
  • Interviews, screens, and recruits job applicants across all levels. Reviews applications and interviews applicants to match experience with specific job related. Conducts phone interviews and face-to-face interviews
