A Talent Advocate is the guide for technology talent through the Hired platform process.They have a close pulse on the technology job market and use these insights to help candidates succeed. They are the experts that candidates can lean on; they provide guidance on how to interview, what to prepare for, and ensure that candidate’s offers align with their career goals.

Our next Talent Advocate will ideally have a firm understanding of not just tech, but start-up recruiting and the high demand for tech talent locally. You'll be working with 130+ candidates a month (hand delivered by our talented Marketing and Curation team) to guide them in our marketplace setting. A Talent Advocate does not simply care about getting someone a job but improving every detail that goes into finding an amazing opportunity.

We concentrate on measured candidate experience and simple marketplace success metrics. We love people who can own new projects, work across multiple teams, and manage themselves efficiently. The future of the role is limitless and we’re looking for people that can hone their current skills - and craft new ones - to be effective in other areas of the company.   • Support candidates through every stage of their experience live on Hired with profile optimisation, best practice sharing, expectation setting, interview preparation along with offer negotiation 
  • Partnering with our customer success and account management counterparts to ensure our marketplace is optimized, efficient and delivers success and value for both our clients and candidates 
  • Managing and tracking a high volume of hiring processes while also providing guidance, gathering feedback and pushing job processes forward 
  • Working with candidates to identify the best job match and manage priorities efficiently 
  • Coaching candidates with offer analysis and negotiating techniques 
  • Prep candidates for technical interviews and on-sites at scale 
  • Providing feedback to the engineering & product team that will make the marketplace more efficient 
  • Developing new process for matching engineers with new job opportunities


  • 1-4 years of experience working within recruiting, customer success or community management.
  • High EQ and strong ability to adapt and be strategically agile in a fast paced environment. 
  • Must have a passion for technology and people 
  • Must be detail, solution, and process-oriented BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
