About the role

We’re looking for Superscript’s first Talent Acquisition Manager. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, will be to own all things recruitment at Superscript and hire the people that will continue to make us unstoppable!

You'll be on the front line - aligning our ambitious business goals with the talented people we need to achieve them. You’ll help us recruit the best talent in all areas - from Engineering to Sales - and at all levels.

Over time, you’ll play a key role in scaling our People & Talent function - and as a founder member, you’ll have bags of autonomy to make it your own.

On a day to day basis, you’ll be….

  • Hiring. A lot! You’ll be involved in every stage of the recruitment process
  • Creating a superlative candidate experience by being responsive, proactive and clear about what makes Superscript a great place to work
  • Ensuring that we take an inclusive approach to all recruitment activity and create a diverse talent pool
  • Developing the hiring skills of everyone involved in recruitment at Superscript by sharing better than best practices and running ongoing training
  • Collaborating with the Marketing team to build our employer brand and develop content that reflects our principles

This role would fit like a glove if…

  • You’ve got demonstrable experience in an in-house talent role in a scaling business, with experience sourcing, engaging and attracting candidates in multiple disciplines (including Tech and Product) and at all levels of seniority
  • You’re great at managing your time and juggling multiple roles
  • You love tracking and reporting recruitment data and using it to continuously improve candidate experience and hiring practices
  • You’re a confident communicator who sets crystal clear expectations and keeps your stakeholders well informed
  • You’re empathetic, curious and a great listener - your approach is less ‘bums on seats’ and more focused on understanding what candidates can add to Superscript and what we can give to them
  • You care about ensuring that every candidate interaction with Superscript is a positive experience
  • You know ‘what good looks like’ when it comes to creating a great hiring process - but you’re always looking for opportunities to make it even better.
