Tax Manager

Your Opportunity

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to be our first dedicated tax team member. The Tax Manager will play an important role by being responsible for leading all aspects of our global tax function and coordinating the timely filings of our income tax returns and other business related filings.

You’ll be successful in this role if you are eager to build a dedicated tax department from the ground up, passionate about technology, and focused on details. This role reports to the VP, Financial Reporting, Treasury and Stock Administration.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee federal, state and international income taxes and indirect taxes, including financial statement reporting of income taxes under US GAAP
  • Facilitate R&D analysis conducted in various domestic and foreign jurisdictions
  • Ensure tax compliance in foreign jurisdictions, analyze international tax planning, oversee transfer pricing policies, and assist with the impacts of international tax on the US tax provision
  • Build a deep understanding of the business, including regular interactions with key partners (Legal, HR, etc.), to assist with researching potential tax implications and engaging as necessary with third party service providers
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments and create strategies to capitalize on changes to taxation legislation
  • Build and maintain effective control procedures over the tax process

Your Qualifications


  • 5+ years of corporate tax experience, with at least two years in a managerial capacity
  • Strong understanding of ASC 740 and relevant financial reporting requirements
  • Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to "roll up your sleeves"
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel (e.g., pivot tables, V-lookup), and Google Docs
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficiently with minimal daily management


  • CPA license
  • Mix of both private and Big 4 experience
