 WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING ON A DAILY BASIS

Overall: Based in Austin, TX and reporting to the Head of US Tax, we are seeking a motivated individual to join Ferrovial’s Tax Department as a Tax Manager. If you are highly organized, responsive, and flexible and have the ability to handle multiple projects while producing accurate and timely results, this is a great opportunity for you to explore. Prepare
·       (And / or review) Federal and state corporate and partnership tax returns, including analysis of all book-tax differences, under direction of head of tax
·       Other indirect tax filings as needed coordinated, with Sr. Tax Accountant / Finance Department
 
Maintain
·       Tax calendar to ensure that all tax filings are completed on time
·       Calculations of key tax attributes such as NOL carry forwards, tax credits, tax basis, earnings & profits, etc.
·       Documentation to substantiate tax filings, tax positions and transfer pricing under direction of head of tax
·       (And set up) income tax compliance software
 
In coordination with Sr. Tax Accountant & Finance department, assist with review of
·       US GAAP/IFRS tax provision calculations
·       Tax forecasts and budgets
 
Under the direction of Head of Tax, provide support for
·       Federal and state tax audits
·       Tax planning and research projects
 
Other tasks
·   Work with business partners and external providers to gather tax information and resolve issues, coordinating with Head of Tax
·   Monitor withholding tax obligations and prepare appropriate filings, coordinated with Sr Tax Accountant
·   Responsible for resolving tax notices and information requests, coordinated with Sr Tax Accountant / Finance Department
 
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Experience
Required
-    4+ years of tax experience in
-          Public Accounting; or
-          Corporate
Education
Required
-   Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g. Accounting)
Desired
-   Master’s degree in a related field (e.g. Accounting, Tax)
-   CPA
Knowledge
Required
-   Financial ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
-   In depth knowledge of GAAP
Skills
Required
-   Computer: MS Office, SAP
-   Communication: verbal, written
