About the Role
Navan is seeking a strong and motivated Tax Manager to join our growing Tax team. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely filings of income tax compliance and preparation of tax accounting for international group companies.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of UK and international corporate tax concepts, excellent analytical and organization skills, the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks, and impressive communication skills to work with internal and external stakeholders in multiple time zones.

What You'll Do
- Manage and perform detailed reviews of income tax filing documents prepared by external tax consultants and ensure timely and accurate filings of them in the UK and worldwide
- Coordination and tracking of group companies' income tax assessments, payments, tax account accruals, reconciliations, and related journal entries
- Support transfer pricing calculations and reporting, including reviewing/preparing transfer pricing documentation of group companies
- Assist in any income tax audits of group companies
- Support international tax planning and strategy initiatives, including tax research, merger & acquisition, restructuring, and modeling for tax impacts
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including finance, international accounting, and treasury to gather data needed to support income tax calculations and return-to-provision analysis for international group companies
- Assist with quarterly/annual income tax provision preparation under US GAAP for international group companies
- Collaborate within a robust internal control and SOX compliance framework
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 3+ years of tax compliance and accounting experience
- Strong understanding of Tax accounting and accounting adjustments
- Proactive and resourceful team player with a positive attitude and energy in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to prioritize and manage a demanding workload involving multiple tasks, responsibilities, and tight deadlines
- Excellent communication (verbal and written)
- Excellent use of Excel, Google Suite, and hands-on exposure to accounting systems
