SBG Sports Software, a Catapult Company, is a leading developer of data and video-based performance analysis software for international sports.

Our systems are used extensively by teams and organisers in elite Motorsport including Formula 1, Formula E, Indycar, WEC/Le Mans and other worldwide endurance racing.

Our customers include the FIA, six Formula 1 teams (including the 8-time World Champion Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team), more than half of the Formula E teams and the winners of the last 7 Le Mans 24-hour races (Audi, Porsche, and Toyota).

We also develop software for many other sports including international and domestic football (where users of our software include the majority of English Premier League clubs) and over 3,000 teams around the world in the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLS,, AFL, NRL, NCAA and more.

WE WANT PEOPLE WHO ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT ADMINISTRATION

As Team Assistant / EA at Catapult, you will have the responsibility of providing high level business support and undertaking administrative duties for the Chief Technology Officer and other Senior Management in the London office. Working closely with them, you will be involved in a varied mix of work, including project management, diary management, arranging meetings with both internal and external stakeholders and organising travel. You will also be responsible for organising team events and offsites, so attention to detail is extremely important. It will be a busy and varied role, so it is essential that you are very organised and can prioritise efficiently and effectively. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

  • Providing high level business support and assistance to the Chief Technology Officer and Senior Management.
  • Diary management, coordinating schedules and arranging meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as a central point of communication, coordination, and information flow for the global engineering organisation.
  • Handle the oversight of projects for the Engineering team.
  • Travel arrangements including flights, hotel, visa applications and trip specific bookings. 
  • Coordinate meetings, including team meetings and management meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes and following up with action items
  • Organising team events and offsites. 
  • Assisting with travel expenses as required.
  • Support with vendor and contract management.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • 3+ years of experience in an administrative role. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills. 
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently on projects.
  • Proactive and able to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Excellent ability to prioritise and pre-empt requirements. 
  • Highly discrete and able to handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • An interest in sport would be an advantage but is not essential. 
  • Experience in reviewing contracts would be advantageous.
