Team Lead – Drupal Front-End (Hybrid, Anywhere in India)

This Role is for you, if you have -

• Leadership and Team Management

  • Experience leading frontend projects and teams.

  • Outstanding communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills

  • Advocacy of Open Source contribution and have done active contribution in Drupal community and stay up to-date with recent trends in the FE & Drupal world

  • Serve as the Subject-Matter Expert for at least one initiative in current organization
     

• Project Management

  • Experience with Agile methodologies, especially Scrum

  • Expert in requirement understanding and design review and able to identify the feasibility of the design components from implementation perspective

  • Excellent attention to details to the project requirements.

  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
     

• Drupal Development

  • Demonstrable proficiency with the latest Drupal version i.e. 10 or 9 and have worked or delivered 3+ Projects with mentioned Drupal version.

  • More than 7 years of technical background with expertise in Drupal Frontend architecture with engineering principles and design patterns. 

  • Excellency in site-building with complex creation of - Various entity type creation/update, Views, Layout builder, UI Pattern etc

  • Excellent understanding of Drupal Config management.

  • Excellent understanding of multi-theme and multi-site architecture

  • Exceptional understanding of component based architecture with atomic design principles and are aligned with the recent Drupal SDC architecture.
     

• Innovation and Best Practices

  • Comfortable working with Docker based website setup

  • Expertise in Tailwind framework and have more than 2+ years of experience with Tailwind or successfully delivered more than 3 projects using the same.

  • Expertise in CSS preprocessors like SASS and also have hands-on experience with PostCSS.

  • Proficiency in leveraging NPM, yarn packages and tools like Webpack, Gulp, Vite, etc.

  • Have experience working with Pattern Lab or Fractal

  • Proper understanding of Accessibility standard and following the best practices while working with the component development by following the HTML structure of the component accordingly

  • In-depth knowledge of JavaScript and have worked with any JS frameworks like React, Next.js, or Vue.js, etc.

  • Significant experience with the Decoupled architecture with any popular JS frameworks and successfully delivered at least 2 projects in decoupled architecture

  • Experience in building PWAs to enhance user engagement.

  • Skills in optimizing frontend performance for faster load times and better user experience.

  • Strong knowledge of version control systems, especially Git

  • Identify repetitive tasks and automate them to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
     

• Deployment and CI/CD

  • It is required to have foundational knowledge of server deployment techniques

  • Knowledge of Acquia Cloud Platform and Acquia Site Factory (Nice to have)

  • It is required to provide deployment support for at least one project, working in collaboration with TA

  • Foundational knowledge of developing and maintaining continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

  • Should collaborate with DevOps teams to enhance deployment strategies and troubleshoot deployment issues.
     

As Team Lead – Drupal Front-End, you will –

• Lead the Frontend team and the project of complex Drupal-based websites

• Work alongside with designers and developers to analyze, architect, and build solutions based on business needs

• Evaluate project requirements and contribute to planning, estimations, and strategy sessions.

• Evaluate the upcoming project as an RFP, estimate it and support presales

• Mentor senior frontend developers, promoting best practices and enhancing team skills.

• Troubleshoot, optimize, and upgrade existing Drupal projects

• Passionately write clean, modern, maintainable and highly-performant code.

• Stay updated with advancements in frontend technologies and integrate them into projects where applicable.

• Advocate for user experience, ensuring that the site architecture is intuitive and accessible

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related fields.

• More than 7 years of expertise in Drupal Frontend architecture with engineering principles and design patterns. 

• Demonstrable proficiency with the latest Drupal version i.e. 10 or 9 and have worked or delivered 3+ Projects with mentioned Drupal version.
