Team Travel Manager - Destination Sport Travel 

Hybrid working available based at home, from our Manchester office and with regular travel

Sitting under the Destination Sport Group, our team of Travel Managers assist professional sports teams with all their travel requirements, from first team domestic movements and European competitions to global pre & post season tours.

Our attention to detail ensures all aspects of the teams travel are meticulously planned and booked whether it is for; First Team (Men’s or Women’s), the U8’s, a domestic fixture, or overseas match either in Europe or further afield. 

Our clients benefit by being looked after by individuals that have worked alongside various professional sports clubs for many years. They bring learnings achieved whilst working with one club to resolve a problem that may adversely affect another. We say with confidence that there are not many scenarios that at least one of the team has not come against in the past.

From complex movement schedules on a multi destination pre/post season tour, to world tournaments and mid-season training camps, we’re on hand throughout to ensure all are delivered to the highest standards and you can be assured of a 24 hour 7 day a week duty of care, proactive service.

Due to an exciting year of growth we are now looking for a Travel Manager to research, manage and oversee the operational delivery of team travel for allocated teams. Covering Team Travel Managers with their accounts and providing administrative support as/when required.

No two days are the same in this exciting new role, but as part of your role you will

  • Manage all team travel both in the UK and overseas for allocated teams
  • Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers on behalf of allocated teams
  • Manage day to day relationships with assigned teams, identifying opportunities to increase revenue
  • Support colleagues as / when required
  • Raise invoices promptly
  • Protect business cashflow
  • Travel in the UK and oversees as/when required
  • Oversee team operations in person and / or remotely as required
  • Accurately process data to ensure compliance with ISO standards
  • Help and support in minimising or eradicating the harm our business operations inevitably inflicts on the environment
  • All Destination Sport staff must report any loss or compromise of confidential information in any form of media (e.g. paper, electronic) to the Business Support Team through the Security Incident Report form, which can be found on the Connect.
