The DraftKings Engineering team is looking for a strong leader to come in to the role of Tech Manager for the Web team. The Web team is responsible for all aspects of the Draft Kings experience on the Web and Mobile Web platform as well as several strategic applications with partners.


  • Planning, design, and hands-on development of Web App
  • Significant personnel management duties for the team
  • Own and uphold Engineering process including SDLC, testing, automation on team
  • Fulfill multiple project requests simultaneously while meeting aggressive deadlines


  • 7+ years experience designing and developing professional software on the Web; significant experience across multiple languages including a statically typed one like Java or C#
  • Extensive knowledge of modern Web frameworks and modern application designs, best practices, and appropriate tooling
  • Extensive knowledge of modern Javascript with a heavy emphasis on React, a Flux framework like Redux or Baobab, and conversant in ES2015/ES2016.
  • Knowledge of core concepts including OOP vs Functional Programming, Architecting for Scale
  • Experience leveraging Amazon Web Services or another cloud services provider
  • Successful history of personnel management responsibilities
  • Demonstrate experience work in an Agile/Scrum team
  • Possess the passion to design, build and polish innovative applications
  • Must thrive in fast paced, results driven environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or similar, preferred
