What you’ll be doing with us:

Our Technical Architect will report directly to Moteefe's Lead Architect and are both 'hands on' Senior Engineers and involved in our strategic technical decision making.

In this role you will take a helicopter view of our cross functional engineering teams (4-8 people) to work on developing new features, e-commerce optimisation, launching in new international markets and re-architecting our platform.

You will assist the Software Engineering Managers in setting and implementing appropriate standards across the function, including security, performance, quality, regulatory compliance and availability.

This is a senior role, and you will be expected to be able to juggle hands on development, training and mentoring, planning of future deliverables and providing professional input to our ongoing technical strategy.

You will be playing a leading role in defining the target technology vision and system architecture, with the help and support of the technology leadership team. Understanding the wider system architecture and suggesting insights to take it forward in order to meet future business goals.

As well as understanding and prioritize the biggest platform pain points. Work with different engineering teams to ensure that the most efficient path to a full system-wide solution is followed.

We will look for you to draw on your experience to identify and divide up clearly defined domains that constitute the system.
