Technical Product Manager

This is a rare opportunity to shape our award-winning payments platform as we scale. As a Technical Product Manager at Modulr you’ll work in a tight-knit, high-performing team, delivering new functionality to help our business and customer businesses grow. You’ll be responsible for building products that solve real challenges in business and commercial payments. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of complex product initiatives.

As part of the product development process you’ll be responsible for product and feature specification and actively take part in the Scrum to guide and prioritise delivery with the engineering team.

About you;

We’re looking for someone that is technical and highly analytical, but is also is able to work and communicate within cross-functional teams to deliver high quality products in an agile environment.

Skills and experience you’ll have;

  • Professional experience in product, professional services or management consulting roles within a software environment combined with a track record in shipping impactful technology products ideally with an API component.
  • Deep experience eliciting, assessing and prioritising requirements through product, business analysis or consulting roles.
  • Creating product specifications, setting out ROI and market goals.
  • Product experience in complex software development domains, ideally with high volume transaction components (e.g. accounting, payments, core banking, trading, insurance or similar)
  • Strong data driven analytical skills.
  • Experience influencing and collaborating with technology, operation, product marketing and sales teams to build, ship, industrialise and effectively market new product / product packages.
  • Clear written and verbal communication while tailoring your approach to your audience.
  • Experience integrating with the major UK, International or EU payment schemes such as Faster Payments, Bacs, CHAPS, SWIFT, SEPA Credit, SEPA Instant, Direct Debits, Direct Credits.
