About the Position
Our mission is to revolutionize application security. At Contrast Security, we offer a new approach to code security and application protection, from developers analyzing the first line of code through instrumenting a sophisticated enterprise DevSecOps lifecycle, and deploying apps at-scale. 

A key to our success is the ability to integrate with a broad set of  developer tools, such as IDE’s, Code Repositories, Bugtracking and pipeline tools. As a Technical Product Manager you will be a key contributor on a team that will drive this area of our technology stack.

This is a highly visible and cross-functional role that requires a good understanding of application development, testing, and/or deployment tools and workflows. You will work closely with our enterprise customers, technical alliances teams, and all other product teams. You will demonstrate a deep understanding of market trends and technologies, and apply this to create a strong roadmap for our integrations to make the Contrast platform a core part of enterprise application security programs.  

We are looking for a highly technical candidate, a solid mix of business and organizational skills, and the ability to operate in a matrixed cross-functional environment. This is a good opportunity for candidates with a background in software engineering, DevOps, AppSec, SRE and related areas. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and Lead Ecosystem Integrations Strategy: Define and execute the product strategy for third-party integrations, ensuring that our platform connects seamlessly with external ecosystems, including APIs, partner platforms, SaaS tools, and cloud services.
  • Product Roadmap and Vision: Develop, maintain, and communicate the product roadmap for ecosystem integrations, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives, user needs, and market demands.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, and partnership teams to deliver high-quality integrations. Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment on integration requirements, timelines, and goals.
  • Market Research and User Feedback: Conduct market research and gather feedback from customers and partners to identify new integration opportunities, assess competitive positioning, and guide product development decisions.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide guidance on technical architecture and ensure integration solutions are robust, scalable, and meet the security and compliance standards. Work with engineers to troubleshoot technical issues and ensure integrations operate as expected.
  • Partnerships Management: Collaborate with business development teams to identify and prioritize strategic partnerships. Manage relationships with key external partners to drive successful integrations that enhance our product value proposition.
  • Customer Advocacy: Be the voice of the customer for integration needs, ensuring that integrations are solving real user pain points and enhancing the overall user experience.
  • KPIs and Success Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of integrations, including adoption rates, usage metrics, partner satisfaction, and overall business impact.
  • Documentation and Training: Ensure that product documentation, training materials, and support processes are up-to-date for all integrations, enabling internal teams and customers to successfully leverage integrations.

Qualifications

  • Experience: the Ideal candidate will have a background as a developer first and foremost with the ability to demonstrate hands on experience in using at least one IDE, one Code repository and one bugtracking solution.  knowledge of pipeline tools such as Jenkins, Circle CI would be a bonus.
  • Nice to have experience:  2+ years in Product management focusing on DevOps or DevSec ops would be advantageous.Technical Background: Strong technical acumen, with the ability to understand and influence software architecture, API design, and cloud integrations. Experience in software engineering, DevOps, application security, or SecOps is highly desirable.
  • Strategic Thinking: Proven experience in developing and executing product strategies that align with business goals and drive customer value, especially in the context of partnerships and third-party systems.
  • Customer-Focused: Deep understanding of customer needs, with the ability to translate those needs into actionable product requirements.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Project Management: Proven track record of successfully managing large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Partnership Experience: Experience managing relationships with external partners.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in SaaS, cloud platforms, or enterprise software.
  • Experience with developer, application security, or security operations tool chains and workflows, such as APM, XDR, SIEM, CI/CD, ASPM, vulnerability management.
  • Familiarity with modern API standards (e.g., REST, GraphQL) and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience working with partner ecosystems, marketplaces, or platform business models.
  • Strong interest in staying up-to-date with the latest trends in technology, integration, and digital ecosystems.
