Technical Program Manager (Data Science & Platform Center)

You are the technical owner of end-to- end project.  You will own the planning, execution, and delivery of projects for technology programs or products within Coupang. Your area of influence may include a single technology team or a multiple teams across the company. Your job is to apply best practices to accelerate progress, establish standard, and improve efficient. You have expertise in how to apply technology to solve business problems. You continue to invest in learning the systems involved with your projects in depth while keeping the “big picture” in mind for the benefit of customers and stakeholders.

[Responsibilities]

  • Work with the stakeholder teams (ex: Product Management, Marketing,
  • Operations) to identify and define the overarching goal and customer/business
  • value/impact.
  • Assist in creating user stories and use cases with clear MVP definition.
  • Provide technology expertise to stakeholders to better define the
  • Help the technology teams and their customers to reach consensus on “how” to
  • Create a clear technical documents from a raw idea. (e.g., functional
  • Design and define technical method and mechanism for system interactions

[Requirements]

  • 7-10 Years of technical program management experience in managing feature teams and designing large-scale or complex technical initiatives (BI, Transactional, etc.) with emphasis on data analysis (quality, profiling, etc.)
  • 4+ Years in specific Business Intelligence Roles on a Data Warehouse within a BI Organization
  • Experience in writing Functional specs/ User Stories
  • Experience in dimensional modeling and writing STM documents

[preferred]

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required outstanding verbal and written communication
  • Understanding of Business Intelligence stack i.e. RedShift, Power BI, Tableau, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.
