Technical Project Manager

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager (TPM) to facilitate technical integrations with Omada’s customers and partners. The TPM works directly with customers and coordinates with Omada’s Program Delivery and Engineering teams to ensure the timely technical integration and ongoing support with multiple customers in parallel.

The TPM will be responsible for educating customers about the technical integration process and the capabilities of Omada’s systems, determining the specific requirements of the integration that both delight the customer and minimize the engineering workload, keeping stakeholders updated with technical progress and challenges, being an ongoing technical point-of-contact for customers, and informing our Product team about the features that might make customers happier or integrations easier.

Responsibilities:

  • Own planning, tracking, and documentation to ensure the timeliness, effectiveness, and overall success of your internal and client-facing projects
  • Track technical progress of integration between Omada’s and our clients’ systems
  • Meet with clients and provide technical direction
  • Ensure that technical requirements are never the bottleneck in delivering Omada’s services
  • Work with engineering groups at Omada to understand and evolve how our internal software interfaces with clients
  • Maintain good judgment regarding promises made to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Write concise, friendly, and timely email responses to internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development and sharing of best practices within Omada
  • Limited travel (5-10%) to client sites

Strong candidates for this position will have:

  • A bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years customer-facing project management experience
  • Proven experience managing complex projects and technical implementations with grace (health care focused experience strongly preferred)
  • Ability to write clear, concise, friendly emails
  • Ability to balance day-to-day execution with long-term priorities
  • Ability to engage with all levels of an organization and with different types of teams (executive, technical, marketing, product, etc.)
  • Familiarity with agile engineering practices
  • Familiarity with file transfer, specifically SFTP over SSH
  • Familiarity with web development, specifically Ruby on Rails
  • Knowledge of chronic disease prevention, the US healthcare system, digital health, and the startup work environment
  • Proficiency in Google Docs, Keynote, Powerpoint, Excel, CSV files
