About the role:

We are looking for a Technical Recruiter to join our Recruiting & People Operations team in San Francisco.  You’ll be supporting multiple hiring teams, and will report to the Director of Talent Acquisition in our headquarters in San Francisco.

In this role, you will be partnering with hiring managers to attract and hire top talent to Metromile.  As a Technical Recruiter at Metromile, you’re responsible for guiding all candidates through our hiring process and creating an awesome candidate experience - no matter the outcome.

You will

  • Strategically source and build pipelines for various technical profiles
  • Provide full cycle recruiting, as well as client management support for technology teams
  • Act as an advocate for both the business and candidates throughout the hiring process, establish regular touch points and be diligent with follow through
  • Use a combination of recruiting/sourcing techniques to creatively evaluate, network, and hire top tier talent
  • Track, maintain, and improve recruitment metrics
  • Work with a strong sense of urgency, and fill the highest priority needs for the company

About You

  • 3 years of full cycle Technical recruiting experience
  • Full life cycle recruiting experience in-house (preferred), or agency experience
  • Proven and successful track record of engaging, selling, and recruiting candidates
  • Familiarity with: Linkedin Recruiter, GitHub, and Greenhouse or similar ATS
  • Incredibly organized, with a superb attention to detail
  • An excellent verbal and written communicator, who is a team player and is able to maintain a friendly and professional tone
  • Associate degree in Business Administration (or equivalent experience)
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
