  • The KWS platform - which is delivered as SaaS - is seeing huge demand from kids’ content creators and leading kids’ brands worldwide. These companies licence KWS in order to fully automate registration, authentication, federated identity, parental consent and parent portals for their interactive kids’ sites and apps.

    The Role

    SuperAwesome is looking for an outstanding candidate to lead business development and sales of our SaaS products, prospecting for new clients across the world, expanding sales to existing clients, and managing the relationship with key accounts such as Hasbro, Lego, Hachette and others. You will be evangelising the need for kid-safety and data privacy compliance directly to the CMOs and CTOs of leading kids’ brands and content creators, and take responsibility for developing and managing direct, telesales and web sales channels.

    As the ideal candidate, you will have several years’ experience promoting, selling and delivering B2B Software-as-a-service solutions. You will look to target some quick wins from existing leads and use of your own contacts where possible; however; the main focus will be on building a high-quality pipeline of key prospects that will convert into profitable, long-term relationships with multi market client contracts.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Direct ownership of our SaaS bookings, revenue and margins, with a primary focus on the UK and the US.
  • Comprehensive understanding of our SaaS product portfolio and how KWS can enable kids’ content creators to engage kids safely and in a fully data privacy compliant way.
  • New business development - targeting, prioritisation and conversion of new SaaS clients among leading kids’ brands - eg, toy companies, movie studios, digital content creators including educational apps & websites, games, virtual worlds.
  • Existing client account management – further development of existing client commercial relationships; expansion to new territories, upsell of new modules and features.
  • Work within the global sales team to leverage existing relationships and build direct brand relationships around our suite of SaaS products
  • Work closely with the KWS product team to deliver market feedback into the product roadmap; coordinating new feature releases and consulting on market requirements both in terms of delivery and end-user features.
  • Work closely with the KWS delivery team to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient delivery for maximum margins.
  • Become an expert and authority on kid-safety and data privacy compliance for web and app publishers; a trusted advisor to prospects and clients on how to create interactive experiences for kids using our KWS SaaS platform
  • Work with our delivery teams to ensure a seamless, excellent experience for all clients
  • A fire-starter, you can clearly demonstrate your abilities to get things done without direct supervision and understand what it means to deliver excellence to stakeholders
  • You’re a hunter! You are adept at identifying new potential customers and cross-selling existing customers. You have a proven track record of sales achievement. You meet and often exceed quota and aren’t afraid to sell past a “No.”
  • You are a proactive learner, entrepreneurial and are hungry to convert new business without the expectation of ‘big corporate’ organisational support.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • You are insanely well-organised, know how to manage and report on a global sales pipeline, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
