About the Role:

Credible is looking for a data-driven, results-oriented Technical SEO Manager to join our team.

As a Technical SEO Manager, you will help to maximize our reach on the web by proactively identifying technic

the expansion of our search visibility in collaboration with Credible’s content and product team’s. You will analyze and test SEO theories, develop and lead growth strategies, and run SEO initiatives to drive qualified traffic to Credible. Your work will help consumers make better financial decisions and help them make a profound difference in their financial livelihood.

The role is full-time and 100% remote. Compensation is based on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough technical SEO audits using advanced tools such as Screaming Frog, ensuring meticulous identification and resolution of issues.
  • Act as a bridge between technical intricacies and broader business goals, effectively communicating recommendations to cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrate expertise in solving technical puzzles by diagnosing and resolving issues on multiple websites.
  • Ensure the website is optimized for mobile devices, adhering to mobile SEO best practices.
  • Monitor mobile page speed and user experience, implementing improvements as needed.
  • Provide hands-on guidance on architecture best practices, navigating challenges with a collaborative approach.
  • Harness the power of data by retrieving and analyzing insights from Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, and other relevant sources.
  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends, algorithm updates, and emerging technologies, bringing innovative solutions to the team.

Education and Experience:

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in technical SEO with proven results.
  • Ability to strategize, plan, implement and monitor technical SEO needs on multiple enterprise-level websites.
  • Experience with headless CMS, ensuring SEO best practices are maintained in modern, dynamic content management systems
  • Experience quantifying the impact of your SEO recommendations, both before and after implementation
  • Experience with SEO software (Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMRush, ScreamingFrog, etc.)
  • Resourcefulness to research and seek out relevant information when needed
  • Showcase deep expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, navigating through technical complexities with confidence.
  • Effectively manage and balance multiple priorities, ensuring that deadlines are met, and deliverables are of the highest quality.
  • Thrive in a dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and maintaining a strategic focus on high-impact initiatives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate under pressure on time-critical initiatives
  • Posses a problem-solving, detail oriented and analytical mindset
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, journalism, communications, information technology or a related field preferred

 

Bonus points

  • Specialized knowledge in news SEO, including technical requirements for Top Stories, schema, and image optimization.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, SQL, and/or Python

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay ranges for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location, are listed below. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.

$100,800$133,200 USD
Colorado and Washington Pay Range:
$84,000$111,000 USD
