Technical Support Specialist



As our Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing phone support for all our customers; the support includes, but is not limited to, over the phone setup, procedures and troubleshooting of our products and equipment and customer interfaced systems.


  • Provide customer support and technical issue resolution via phone, email and other electronic medium
  • Provide training to external/internal customers in the use of Seon systems
  • Configuration of customer equipment to connect to Seon systems
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service in all situations
  • Ability to communicate technical terms in a non-technical format that our customers can understand for troubleshooting purposes
  • Provide support and assistance on other service activities
  • Engage in offsite training and/or installation of Seon products


  • Certificate from college or technical school; or 6 to 9 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Min 1 year outstanding customer service experience
  • Familiar with proper phone etiquette
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Effective listening skills
  • Able to work independently and efficiently to meet customer needs
  • Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Experience with setup and troubleshooting multiple Microsoft windows applications
  • Knowledge of wireless networking and setup

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an energetic, hands-on, detail-oriented individual for this opportunity.

This is a 12-month contract position with possibility to turn into a permanent role.

Compensation is base salary. We also offer paid vacation time, sick/personal days and fully paid benefits after 3 months’ probation (Life, Accidental Death & Disability, Short and Long-Term Disability, Extended Health, Dental, Employee Assistance Program and RRSP Program with company matching your contributions, up to 3% of your salary).
