Test Automation PL/SR - Python/Mobile

Job Summary

As a Test Automation you will interact with the development and customer teams to understand the requirements and validate them accordingly, working to contribute to a culture of quality among with cross-functional teams. Besides the automation tests you will also perform manual tests to confirm and approve the expected behavior. This role is fundamental to drive the adoption of best practices and the improvements regarding the product quality.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Interact with Software Development team in order to complete ticket cycles;
  
• Analyze system and applications and propose test strategy;
  
• Develop and implement test plans and project documentation based on customer requirements;
  
• Develop and implement test case suites for web and mobile applications;
  
• Automate tests through use of test automation tools;
  
• Perform automated and manual testing;
  
• Report/Monitor/Verify issues in defect tracking tool (e.g. JIRA);
  
• Participate in technical discussions with customer;
  
• Work in a dynamic, collaborative, and transparent environment where talent is valued over a role title.

Essential Skills

• Experience with Python / Appium for mobile testing;
  
• Working knowledge of creating scripts using automated testing tools;
  
• Excellent logic, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills;
  
• Experience with Mobile Applications testing tools;
  
• Experience with APIs testing tools.

Highly Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of Test Theory and test frameworks/tools (e.g. Playwright);
  
• Knowledge of Python;
  
• Experience working with testing tools: Playwright / Pytest;
  
• Experience working in an Agile / Scrum / Kanban environments;
  
• Working knowlege with Linux.
