We are a small, friendly and creative team building robots for the restaurant and food industries and we’re having a lot of fun along the way. Our teams work across robotics, mechatronics, software and down into embedded systems.

What will you do?

As the Test Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the quality and reliability of our software and firmware.

Reporting into the Head of Software, you will play a crucial role in the quality of our products. You will be responsible for writing and maintaining test cases for our backend, frontend and firmware.

You’ll be accountable for:

• Detecting and tracking software defects and inconsistencies
• Writing automated test scripts
• Manually testing our robot, hardware and software
• Integrating tests in our CI/CD pipeline
• Writing bug reports
• Collaborating with the wider team to understand requirements and expected behaviour of our hardware and software

Requirements

What we need you to have:

• High attention to detail
• Excellent analytical skills
• Technical background
• Experience writing test cases and bug reports

It would be a bonus if you have:

• Experience in writing tests in Golang
• Experience testing hardware
• Experience with Raspberry Pi or Arduino
• Experience with CI/CD platforms and tools
