As a TLS Design Engineering Intern, you will be counted on to be involved with business decisions and offer ideas and suggestions. Responsibilities

  • Assisting with design and development of new wireless related products.
  • Be part of a new product development team and work from conception through production.
  • Product development using Solidworks.
  • Participating in product and sub-component design reviews.
  • Prototyping design conceptions using internal and external resources.
  • Testing mechanical and electrical properties to ensure quality and reliability.

Requirements

  • Be working towards BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related engineering field.
  • Have exposure through course/lab work with metal materials and CNC, lathe, or other machine familiarity.
  • Familiarity with 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
  • Work well independently and as a team member.
  • Be creative and possess superior organizational, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills.
  • Be at his/her best when working in a fast-paced environment demanding a proactive, “get it done” approach.
  • Have a bias toward learning and a bias toward action.
