Tutor Operations Lead

The Role:

We’re seeking an experienced, innovative, self-starter to join Course Hero as our Tutor Operations Lead. You’ll manage and grow our tutor community team (including tutor acquisition associates, success & community management). As the operations lead, you’ll work closely with product teams and establish our operations strategy to accomplish those goals. You’ll drive success by defining processes, workflows, and goals across the tutor community team. This role will be fast paced and ever changing as Course Hero continues to grow.

  • You’ll work closely with product teams to determine the community strategy and work with our tutor community team to execute on that strategy.
  • You’ll help determine the relevant metrics and goals for your team, and motivate team members to achieve those goals.
  • You’ll establish and track processes to help your team work efficiently and effectively, and you’ll constantly work to improve your team’s impact.
  • You’ll help set a strategy to achieve our business goals, and constantly iterate on that strategy while working in a fast-paced environment.

Are you our star Tutor Operations Lead?

  • 4+ years in an operational leadership role.
  • You've earned a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • You’re not afraid to get your hands dirty by manually testing out processes in order to determine the best way to automate or implement a solution.
  • You’re proficient with Google Apps, spreadsheets for data analysis, and surveys/forms.
  • You are able to effectively multi-task and assist with a wide array of ongoing projects.
  • You have outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Bonus Points:

  • You have experience working in a fast-paced, high-tech, start-up environment.
  • You have people management experience.
  • You have a background in business development, community management, and/or customer service.
