Why Risk Assessment is so important?
Our customer advocates speak to over 20-thousand customers throughout the month and hold a big stake in determining where the biggest risks lie. Augmenting our underwriting team will help to improve the quality of our loans and increase our efficiencies as we grow our sales.

As a Risk Assessment professional your main objective is to determine potential risk and liabilities within Carvana’s underwriting process.
The duties and responsibilities listed are intended to provide general guidelines and parameters for the job and are not intended to be a comprehensive, detailed description of the job.
Specific responsibilities of a Risk Assessor (RA) include monitoring and reviewing funding activity on a daily basis. Review account documents to help identify negative trends and to assess risk. The Risk Assessor is to focus on the compliance of business guidelines using desecration and judgment by verifying the accuracy of documents by approving or declining customer documents. They must possess strong decision quality skills and ability to grasp key points from detailed phone calls and reports. Quality Assurance will partner with the Risk Assessment (RA) Team to help identify & administer relevant quality-related training, monitor all areas of the business based on scorecards, and demonstrate quality service that will impact customers both internally and externally.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The qualifying candidate must love helping people and possess the drive to achieve superior customer satisfaction. They must be goal-oriented, enthusiastic, energetic, self-motivated, with the ability to interact and communicate with all levels of the organization
• Bachelor’s degree
• Two years’ work experience in a customer facing team environment
• Underwriting Review experience, processing, and originations preferred
• Ability to diagnose and solve problems with varying complexity maintaining a focus on customer relations
• You will be a great teammate, we win together and learn together
• You will have a high sense of urgency, high attention to detail and be able to communicate our customer offering.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Flexibility and initiative in the face of fluctuating project requirements
• Strong computing skills including proficiency using business software
• Possess the energy and drive to accomplish goals, meet deadlines, and find solutions
