US Holding Company Lead

We are looking for outstanding US Holding Company Lead to join our Global Agencies & Top Accounts Team. The team plays a critical role in developing senior business relationships and partnerships with the world's biggest agencies and brands. This role will require the right candidate who can support the Global Holding Company Leads and the US Head of Ad Sales. Above all, your work will impact the way the world experiences music.

What you’ll do:

  • Work with the Global Agency Team and the US Head of Sales to execute  Holding Company Partnerships and Trading Agreements in North America.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key agency decision makers to drive consideration at an account level and across the broader holding company
  • Support Head of US Ad Sales with C-suite agency engagement
  • Support Head of Sales with region specific Holding Company upfronts or deals
  • Owns the business planning process with North America Agencies, as well as the deliverables.
  • Ensures carefully co-ordinated Global-Local Planning  
  • Works closely with Global Holding Company Leads to ensure US needs are built into Global Partnerships / Discussions
  • Work with the Global Agency Leads on various activities required to manage the holding company’s business with Spotify, including Quarterly Business Reviews, event management, and various partnership workstreams
  • Become an expert in Spotify capabilities, in order to advocate Spotify and connect the right opportunities with the holding company and their clients
  • Develop best practices and benchmarks to support agency growth
  • Maintain collaborative and highly communicative relationships with local and cross functional internal stakeholders
  • Work from our office in New York

Who you are:

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in marketing or a business related subject with a minimum in 8 years of experience in marketing, consultancy or media sales
  • You are highly strategic with strong analytical skills; experience using quantitative and qualitative data
  • You have a strong sense of personal organization and project management abilities
  • You are energetic and will thrive in a dynamic atmosphere
  • You are an excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills, which will be used to interact with internal and external leadership
  • You are experienced in working with or for media agencies
  • You have a strong customer focus, with an understanding that our customers are both internal and external
