User Interface (UI) / Motion Graphics Designer

As part of growth plans for 2021 we’re looking to take on a motivated and ambitious UI / Motion Graphics designer to lead the visual design and movement of next gen applications and Human Machine Interfaces. We pride ourselves on creating best-in-class digital interfaces and products, and your role here will be to work with our usability and development teams to bring style and flair at the UI level. Our work spans mobile applications, desktop programs, car and bike dashboards and beyond, making this role ideal for an experienced designer who wants to bring their interfaces to life in the real world, or a motion graphics artist that wants to flex their UI skills in an agency environment.

The Role

You’ll be joining a design team of five, supporting the UX function with UI visuals created in the Adobe suite and Figma. This is a client facing role, and so you’ll have regular dialogue with clients across key accounts, translating their feedback into actionable design sprints for further iteration. As an agency we actively research and interrogate new and emerging technologies and where suitable weave them into the products we make, and we would look for you to share our energy and enthusiasm for all things tech.

Summary of the Role

We are looking for a mid to senior User Interface / Motion Graphics Designer with the ability to join our existing design team, working alongside our Design Director. You will be responsible for delivering visual UI direction, elevating the look and feel of all our interfaces. Being a small team, we all contribute towards idea generation and development for our clients. We know you can design vanilla apps and websites with your eyes closed. What will make you stand out is a portfolio/reel showcasing interfaces that truly standout, projecting personality, flair and a touch of theatre.

Requirements

  • Translate detailed wireframes in to useful and usable interfaces for mobile, desktop and tablet
  • At least 4 years’ experience in a studio/agency environment or similar
  • Design interfaces from concept to delivery, by using, thematic boards, storyboards, and preparing final graphics for deployment
  • Add visual creative flair to our projects, and produce deliverables such as mood boards and UI animations
  • Demonstrate flawless attention to detail and rigorous commitment to quality
  • Plan and edit promotional and case study videos that showcase our work
