Support our users in German!

Stripe is live on 3 continents with over 100 supported currencies and rapidly expanding to power the online payments infrastructure throughout the world. While helping our users, the Account Support team works closely with every part of Stripe, learning the intricacies of how we build products, manage risk, launch new countries, and keep users happy.

As a part of our growing multilingual account support team in Dublin, you’ll spend most of your time interacting with our users and ensuring that they have a stellar Stripe experience. You’ll also work to build out our support hub in Dublin, and over time can be responsible for dedicated account management for some of our top users. Many of our user operations team members also go on to specialize in support topics like risk, sales, and product.

You’ll:

  • Interact with users by email or real-time chat in English as well as German.
  • Gain unique insights into how thousands of businesses on Stripe scale and operate.
  • Help optimize our internal and external documentation for subscriptions, Checkout, and a host of other products.
  • Work closely with other teams to improve our product offerings and messaging around new products.

We’re looking for people who:

  • Love interacting with new people.
  • Enjoy writing, and do so quickly and clearly. Be fluent and highly proficient in English, as well as German.
  • Enjoy talking about technical concepts, and would be comfortable explaining how Stripe works.
  • Can empathize with users and can see through their questions to quickly grasp the issues they’re facing.
  • Enjoy the puzzle of solving open-ended problems, both individually and as a member of the team.
  • Love constantly learning and re-learning a changing technical product, even when you’re a little out of your depth.
