Vice President of Cloud Operations and Security

The Role
The VP of Security and Cloud Operations reports directly to the CTO and manages our cloud infrastructure and security practices. You will lead a team responsible for the cloud infrastructure, including networking (VPCs), security services, load balancing and autoscaling. You will manage our cloud vendor (AWS) and own our cloud costs, working with your engineering counterparts to ensure we operate a highly optimized cloud environment.
You will lead security for TuneIn and establish and maintain the strategy and programs to ensure our infrastructure and information assets are protected. You will implement processes to reduce our risk profile, respond to security incidents, manage security technologies, and implement security policies and procedures.
You will oversee the corporate IT infrastructure including SaaS services/vendors, employee computers, help desk & NW infrastructure of physical offices
What We Are Looking For
- A proven track record of developing teams and overseeing cloud infrastructure for large-scale SaaS services
- BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. MS degree preferred.
- 10+ years of hands-on technical experience combined with strong management and communication skills
- Subject matter expertise in Cloud privacy and security risk assessment methodologies
- Real-world experience successfully managing global 24/7/365 operations, escalation procedures, and on-call staff
- Deep, practical knowledge of primary global data protection laws and practices
