The growing NFT industry, which sales in 2021 exceeded $2.5B, needs infrastructure to support its growth and we intend to build services and important infrastructure for this fast-growing ecosystem.

Responsibilities:
Enable and drive strategic decisions and the future of the business, guiding decisions from a deep understanding of technology infrastructure
Build upon, deliver, and maintain technology aligned with the business vision and the needs of its customers
Provide the team of engineers with the process, management, mentorship, and tools to design and develop mission-critical engineering solutions (i.e. comprehensive knowledge bases, learning opportunities, standard processes and technical standards)
Grow the technical expertise of the company as it relates to performance, scalability, and maintainable infrastructure
Ensure the team implements and adheres to best practices
Work with the product team to set expectations, allocate resources, and prioritize and follow through on commitments
Responsible for the retention, advancement, and performance of engineers

You will find it easier to do your job if you have the following qualities:
Engineering management experience in the web3 space, leading teams focused on results
Demonstrated experience managing and developing engineers and/or managers in an engineering organization
High level knowledge of different technology disciplines (i.e. DevOps, Security, Data Analytics) and ability to grow teams in these work streams
A deep understanding of distributed, high-availability systems, OS and network security, and building systems at scale
Willingness to drive the day to day operations of an engineering organization
Public cloud experience (AWS preferred; however, GCP, & Azure acceptable)
Must be knowledgeable about industry trends, best practices, and change management
Extensive experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
A team-player mentality - development is a team sport here
