What you'll be doing…

ActualTech Media, a Future company, seeks an experienced VP of Sales to assume responsibility for our growing sales team to enable ongoing organizational growth. The VP of Sales will join a successful sales team that consists of five full-time quota-carrying sellers and a Sales Assistant that helps support the team’s administrative operations. The VP of sales is further supported by the Director of Revenue Operations.

Cultural alignment is important to us and we are seeking an individual that places an emphasis on consultative selling while also understanding when a transactional approach may be more appropriate. The VP of Sales will inherit a team that has consistently hit quota but that requires newer and more mature processes to more quickly ramp new members of the team.

The VP of Sales will be responsible for working with the Director of Revenue Operations to ensure that well-curated metrics are readily available and reportable to ensure that sales efforts are aligned to division goals and objectives.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve…

  • Experience in the media industry experience including sales team management role(s).
  • Passion for, and deep understanding of digital media/video monetization products and trends, audience data, and solutions-based approach.
  • Ability to negotiate deals, think strategically, and understand complex client campaigns.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
  • Business acumen and insightful understanding of industry trends & revenue drivers.
  • Entrepreneurial drive and an ability to organize, prioritize, and clarify deliverables.

Please note, the salary range for this position is $190-220,000 + commission.
