Video Department, Development Intern, Fall 2016

Refinery29 is looking for excited, curious, and dedicated interns to join the Development team for FALL 2016! The Video Team at Refinery29 is at the forefront of digital storytelling: creating thought-provoking and boundary-breaking videos that resonate with our audience. From exposing the refugee crisis in Syria to highlighting taboo topics like Bulimia in The Skinny, Refinery29’s Video Department works to change and foster new conversations through innovative mediums.

For the Fall, Refinery29 is looking for creators, storytellers, and collaborators. The development interns should be interested in the process of sourcing in-house and out of house pitches and packaging these stories for our Refinery29 audience.

You have:

  • Strong understanding of Refinery29's video department, style, and brand
  • Interest in the pre-production for video
  • Working knowledge of Keynote and Adobe Creative Suites

You will:

  • Help provide script and pitch coverage for the R29 Development Team
  • Assist the team with packaging video stories for sale to outside partners
  • Help to create decks for new video series
  • Help track internal and external talent for our original video series

In order to be considered, a cover letter and resume are required. Our internships are paid, and require you to be available in our NYC office at least 3 days a week.
