Visual Designer

Xendit is an Indonesian fintech company that provides payment infrastructure across Southeast Asia. Xendit processes payments, runs marketplaces, disburses payroll and loans, detects fraud and helps other businesses grow exponentially. We serve these companies by providing a suite of world-class APIs and a dashboard UI that simplifies processes. 

Our main focus is to build the most advanced payment rails for South-east Asia, with a clear goal in mind — to make payments in South-east Asia simple, secure and easy for everyone. We currently serve SMEs to some of the region’s largest tech startups and also giant-sized businesses like Samsung. We process millions of transactions monthly, growing 8% month on month for the last 3 years. We are trusted and backed by some of the largest VCs in the world, who invested in Facebook, Slack, Twitch and Grab, and are alumni of the prestigious YCombinator (S15).

The Visual Designer is part of the Marketing team and will work across functions with a variety of stakeholders. 


In addition to design expertise, this role requires a good understanding of our buyers, product and the marketing funnel in order to create content that leads to awareness and customer growth for Xendit.


  • Create remarkable visual assets including graphics, animation and video content, to support our content-led marketing efforts
  • Deliver visual content for various purposes such as social media marketing, product marketing, branding, and thought leadership videos/graphics
  • Execute all stages of the asset creation process, including idea generation, storyboarding, drafting and editing
  • Collaborate with relevant internal teams as part of the creation process. This includes marketing, PR, product, sales and human resources
  • Do whatever it takes to make Xendit succeed

You may be a good fit if you:

  • Have 3-5 years experience in visual, graphics and/or motion design
  • Have an impressive portfolio of motion and graphics projects
  • Have experience designing social media posts, infographics, digital ads, video tutorials/shorts, thought leadership videos
  • Are proficient with tools of the trade such as Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma 
  • Are results focused and always looking to improve things
  • Are an exceptional communicator and can work with cross-functional teams
  • Are well organized, responsible and dedicated, with the ability to work on multiple projects and deliver refined design in a short span of time
  • Thrive on autonomy and have proven you can push towards a goal by yourself
