Spring is hiring a

Visual Merchandiser

New York, United States

Imagine being able to access 1,000s of brands from one location anywhere you go. And then pair this idea with beautiful design, curated content and amazing customer service.

Well, this is Spring: we're taking the idea of a 24/7 marketplace and using this platform to enable brands and consumers to connect in new ways. Founded in 2013, Spring has quickly become known as the place to shop... and we've seen this in our rising number of users and brand partners. We currently have 90 employees and have big plans for growth.

Spring offers consumers access to brands that span five different verticals: women's, men's, kid's, lifestyle and beauty. Each of these verticals carries hundreds -if not thousands- of products, all waiting to be discovered by users. Our Visual Merchandisers help enable brand and product discovery by sifting through our entire product catalogue to create compelling curations that engage our customer to browse, love and purchase. You help our customers find the items they will love, the trends they can’t wait to try, and the brands they’ll want more of. We fuel our merchandising through a mix of visuals and analytics, so a love for fashion and data is ideal.

As a Visual Merchandiser, your work will be featured on Spring’s front page on web, in the home screen of our apps, and in emails that go out to our customer base. You’ll curate over 30 collections each week, and help us reach key goals related to customer conversion, retention and engagement. This role will report to our VP, Editorial and will work closely with Spring's marketing team, the copy and design teams and others.

What you will do:

  • Create compelling collections that deliver on higher conversion and retention metrics
  • Develop and maintain editorially driven curation franchises
  • Work with influencers and partners on collections for app and web across five verticals
  • Collaborate with marketing and design on creative briefs for spotlight and emails
  • Work with our inhouse Brand Team on supporting business objectives
  • Creation of compelling collections that deliver on higher conversion and retention metrics
  • Development and maintenance of editorially driven curation franchises
  • Work on major Spring campaigns (holiday, etc.)

What you will need:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a merchandising role
  • Prior experience in ecommerce
  • Solid knowledge of brands and the fashion industry
  • Strong familiarity with CMS
  • Exceptional organization skills and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
