What will you be working on?
● You will be reimagining the whole “Banking Experience “ and bring in a behaviour change in the end consumer.
● You will set the standard for Design Culture , Drive People , Processes and Design Systems by bringing in the best of
industry practices and Promote Design effectiveness within the organisation.
● You establish Vision , Mission and OKRs for the Design Team in consensus with the Product & Org OKRs and lead all the cross product & cross team initiatives in the organisation , Influencing product roadmaps with ruthless focus on driving multiple releases with continuous focuses on emerging products.
Top 5 Tactical Problem Statements To Solve As A Leader On The Ground.
● Establishing User-First Approach across different products
● Help the Company's New Products Reach Product Market Fit & old products reach steady state.
● Mentor and help the team members grow into independent, mature designers who are great at both craft and thinking.
● Help the company establish repeatable, proven processes for Building Profitable Products
● Build an architecture of the app which is both scalable, fast and delightful
What are the Top 3 OKRs which you will have to accomplish for this year .
● Build and manage design team along with culture in 6 months of joining
● Contribute to strategic direction of the company to achieve X products per consumer penetration
● Launch new products in lending and Wealth space.
What makes you successful and what is the metric you will be evaluated
● Managing , growing , retaining a high performing team of talented product designers. And Coach other team members to maintain positive attitude and navigate challenging situations
● Effective Negotiator and Confident Subject Matter Expert who knows when to get support and when to push back effectively and professionally, (this calls for proven experience and knowledge to counter with logic and data driven approach)
● You will be responsible to partner with stakeholders and help Drive The Product Agenda from a user experience point of view; proactively anticipating issues before they arise, resulting in smoother, higher quality product development.
What kind of work you should have done and the industry preferences .
People & Stakeholder Management :
● You should have led Design Leads / Director in your past experience for at-least 3 - 5 Yrs and have owned their Performance Appraisals (end - end).
● You should have capability Recruit / Build teams from scratch and have minimum 5 - 7 Yrs mandatorily experience of managing teams around Design , User Research , Illustrators , Motion Designers , UI Engineers to successfully accomplish Organization Goals.
● You should have Demonstrated Humility in both giving and receiving feedback from all sources and relayed feedback to the team effectively; coach others on how to give and receive feedback with a strong empathy quotient.
Leadership & Industry Expertise :
● As a leader in the industry and a Master (UX) Designer, you should have experience of coaching your peers , set up be ardent Speaker Championing / Promoting User Experience , Design Principles on various design / leadership forums and keep up with the latest design trends in the industry.
● You will be successful if you have experience of Influencing founders /founding teams /Executive Level Leaders in a startup / evolving fuzzy org structures /scale backed by Data & industry Expertise.
Design (UX) & Tech Systems :
● You are a strong believer in building design systems and bring in best industry practices to help build Scalable design architecture across all the product of Jupiter
● You are a thought leader have proven experience to influence product through great UX
