As VP, People Operations at Intersection, you will drive people strategy and lead forward-thinking innovation in HR at Intersection. Reporting to the Chief Legal and Talent Officer, you will lead the HR team to deliver best-in-class services across a breadth of areas, including performance management, recruitment, benefits, employee development, compensation, change management and employee relations.

What you will accomplish:

  • Drive HR strategy, ensuring Intersection’s people practices are industry-leading and innovative
  • As a culture champion, create and support programs to drive a culture of transparency, communication, accountability, innovation, and adaptability
  • As a data-driven practitioner of HR, provide actionable insights based on people analytics data, such as employee engagement surveys, attrition, and other key metrics
  • Lead day-to-day operations of HR across the organization, managing, mentoring, and coaching Intersection’s HR team.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to guide and coach business leaders on all HR related matters
  • Partner with business leaders to align departmental goal setting to meeting business objectives, while implementing HR programs to support meeting those goals
  • Support execution of all company policies, organizational design, management development, team effectiveness and change management initiatives
  • Oversee HR operations, including benefits, payroll, and HRIS

What we are looking for:

  • Significant professional experience that includes leadership of an HR function and team
  • Proven success in creating innovative and forward-thinking HR programs across all expertise areas of HR
  • Demonstrated success advising and influencing the senior leadership of an organization
  • Expertise in employee relations, comp and benefits, and talent management
  • Excellent judgment and tact, including the ability to communicate tough messages respectfully
  • The willingness and ability to perform both strategic and tactical HR tasks
  • An excellent grounding in HR administration, along with a passion for people data and metrics
  • Proven HR expertise in all areas of HR, including organizational development, training, benefits, compensation and employee relations
  • A commitment to building and supporting a dynamic, positive and successful culture
