ROLE VP, PERFORMANCE MARKETING & ECOMMERCE

In this role you’ll become responsible for the online consumer experience at SOUNDBOKS and take on the mantle of leadership for two teams, Performance Marketing and Ecommerce, as well as, a US Marketing Director. Under guidance of your leadership, these teams will drive all performance marketing activities, build demand, drive traffic to our website and subsequently convert interested consumers into paying customers.


In addition, you’ll step into a horizontal “team” with our two other VPs for Brand and Retail & Distribution, where all three of you report directly to our Chief Commercial Officer. You’ll collaborate on the go-to-market strategy for all markets and it’s our expectation that you act as the subject matter expert on all things related to online sales.


Okay, let’s make things a little more concrete. Here’s what we expect your daily life to look like:


  • You’ll oversee team leaders and coach them in building and leading their individual teams to deliver on objectives and targets as planned.

  • You’ll build a world-class online shopping experience on SOUNDBOKS.com, representing our flagship product offering and converting visitors to paying customers.

  • You'll plan and implement a comprehensive calendar to orchestrate all end-to-end global programs and activities using paid media, social, email, in-app notifications, and more, complete with best practices for establishing the right media mix and cadence for optimal performance.

  • You’ll design, develop and manage the consumer journey from first contact to conversion and loyalty.

  • You’ll build a diversified media spend plan across digital media that minimizes dependencies on single platforms, leverages trends in platforms and content, and ensures a 360 degree approach to the consumer.

  • You’ll work with Brand to ensure that all performance marketing channels are part of building SOUNDBOKS as a unified premium lifestyle brand.

  • You’ll work with Retail & Distribution to drive growth across all channels in core markets to maximize penetration while maintaining profitability and brand equity.

  • You’ll optimize team performance to reach yearly sales, ROAS and profitability goals according to targets set with CCO, CEO and CFO.

  • You'll align with Marketing leadership to define performance marketing strategic objectives, budgets, and success metrics.
