VP Product Management

Airware is hiring a proven and dedicated VP of Product to join us as we provide full-stack drone solutions to enterprise customers, giving them all the tools necessary to make critical business decisions from aerial data. In this role, you will own the definition and delivery of our product roadmap and go-to-market strategy and champion the enterprise application of drone technology across a variety of market segments. As the VP of Product Management, you will drive the definition and analysis of specific market needs and product roadmap, while leveraging meaningful relationships with both the technical and go-to-market teams in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Sample project

  • Support vertical specific GMs to reach revenue goals with minimal compromise to the longer term product solution roadmap.
  • Collaborate with the other senior executive stakeholders to negotiate the strategic/solution roadmaps.
  • Support team collaboration with engineering peers to optimize the process of launching new features, products and solution.
  • Manage and mentor product management teams to prioritize and own the product-level roadmaps.

Necessary Skills and Experience

  • Experience defining solutions and roadmaps, especially for enterprise SaaS products
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully navigate technically complex products and environments
  • Proven ability to work effectively with executive stakeholders to define and negotiate product roadmaps and service offerings
  • Experience successfully managing/balancing company revenue goals with long-term product and solutions roadmap
  • Track record of success in fast-paced start-up environments delivering complex products into early markets

Beneficial Skills and Experience

  • Product Marketing experience to include positioning, pricing, market sizing, segmentation, collateral, etc.
  • Customer development/sales experience/ GM-level experience
