SearchStar are seeking an additional member of the team to help us become an even more tech-driven business. We currently use market leading tech platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, Data Studio, Facebook etc) & we have an innovation team that seeks ways to use these platforms in “non-standard” ways (e.g. writing bespoke scripts to serve specific tasks).
However, we’d like additional resource dedicated to the more technical aspects of our work, to get even more from these platforms & to help develop our own proprietary tools.
We’re looking for someone who has some experience developing tools and platforms that solve Client challenges. They must be technically capable and have an aptitude for problem solving. We’d also like this person to see the value of working with existing market leading tools to take advantage of APIs and open source technology to build on and innovate their capabilities, rather than trying to start from scratch.
It will be essential for the chosen person to work with the innovation team to help uncover these opportunities, convert them into fully thought out plans and prioritise those that will have most benefit/impact for SearchStar overall. This person could consider themselves the Technology evangelist at SearchStar.
This role would suit someone who has spent time in a technical role (e.g. web development or ad operations)
Experience of any web/digital based technology will be beneficial, but some will be more relevant than others.
Ideally the candidate will have 2 to 4 years of experience in a technical role using the following skills
- HTML & CSS
- General API use/integration
- Google platforms (e.g. Analytics/Tag Manager/Data Studio/Campaign Manager/Sheets)
- Other Ad platforms (e.g. Facebook/Amazon/Adobe etc.)
Would be nice to have:
- Google Ads Scripts
- PythonSQL/BigQuery/Data Warehouse
